Lest we forget that we can, and did, exist without modern technology, one only needs to see the sites of historic Paris. The beacons of architectural style that are the Notre Dame, Versailles and the Eiffel Tower are reminders that even jaded anti-tourists can appreciate sightseeing sometimes.
